Morton Salt Girl by Richard Arfsten

Morton Salt Girl - clay. This is the big sister of the little Morton Salt Girl who's wearing the yellow rain coat , walking in the rain, on the Morton Salt canister. This big sister has a fancy rain hat on but that is all - yummy.

I have made a lot of pieces that got lost or damaged before I could find the money to cast them. That is what happened to this piece. Most artists will take money down on 24 copies before they bring the clay to an art foundry to have it made into bronze. Cast metal art is extremely costly to make. This is why I did an apprenticeship in an art foundry so I could learn to do some of the work to save some money.

My prices may look high to some people but in reality they are not. Check out one-of-a-kind cast metal sculpture in an art gallery and you will see my prices are reasonable. There are a lot of variables to pricing a work of art.
