Connecticut Charlie - Plaster
Connecticut Charlie is a plaster portrait bust I made as an art student at Lyme Academy of Fine Art in Old Lyme Connecticut. I was there for one semester so I could learn to get faster at modeling clay. Modeling a likeness accurately is not about moving clay but about seeing the form and duplicating it in clay. It was a great experience and I would recommend Lyme Academy of Fine Art in Old Lyme, Connecticut to anyone serious about their art. I use this as a demonstration piece of my ability for people considering commissioning a bust of someone.
This is a life size plaster bust. It will come with a stone base that is polished on top and rough cut on the sides.
