Mending After Divorce by Richard Arfsten
Mending After Divorce - bronze casting. This was an early piece that I made without the aid of a model for reference. I modeled it in clay and used an experimental method of casting it in bronze. I wound up with two sides that did not quite fit. As I was welding the two pieces together the sculpture told me its name was "Mending After Divorce."
This is a unique piece, this is the only copy. The bottom is steel and there will be a thick polished stone base with rough cut sides that it will sit on.
