Age brings wisdom. This is the man in the tribe you go to for insight into solutions of problems. He just looks wise. He was a great chief and is an icon of his people.
This is a sand carved metal sculpture/painting portrait. I made a few of them at one time. They are hard to do that is why I do not see other artists using this process. It is made to hang on the wall and stands 3 inches from the wall.
This solid metal portrait 100 times harder to make than painting a portrait on canvas. It is an edition of one.
