The red man said the white man speaks with forked tongue. My observations have deduced that most politicions speak with forked tongues. Getting elected is like farming mushrooms. You have to keep them in the dark and feed them a lot of horse shit. Every once in a while one of them gets caught. But most of the time even when they lie and start wars under false pretenses so their personal and family interests can profit from the no bid contracts after privatizing much of the functions of war they get away with it.
Then they don't tell the populous what the cost is or how the war is going to be payed for. Then their greed almost ruins the whole economy. The next administration is left with cleaning up the mess. Do they help clean up the mess? Hell no. Their greed makes them so stupid they cannot understand that if the populous has some money left over after basics they will spend it on products that would make the rich richer. So they send their jobs over seas and take away the little bit of discretionary income they have and complain that all those poor people are bankrupting the economy. Cut the wealthy class taxes and they will create jobs they say. I have never seen any company make product to stock shelves for people who are too broke to buy it. Why are there so many empty stores? Could be there is not enough discretionary income to support anything a store would sell.
