Night Passage - maquette. I am not a sailor and have only sailed once at night. This is the image burned in my mind. It was exciting and exhilarating since it was my job to pull the spinnaker around when we tacked. Did I mention I get sea sick just looking at waves?
This design would be at home in front of a yacht club or a marina.
It is a maquette that would make a great desk top piece for a sailing aficionado. As such it will come with a stone base that has rough cut sides.
