American Beauty Rose by Richard Arfsten
American Beauty Rose is a flower composition made from a couple of washing machine transmissions, an old plumbing sink drain and other found objects. I find it challenging to make a composition out of found materials. Give me a pile of metal and I will make something. I have acres of good junk ... er ... I mean, metal resources to create wonderful art out of. I keep listening to the "bird" for ideas. This piece sold for $1900.
