Galactic Traveler - cast sculpture. The inspiration for this piece came from some of the cave and temple drawings of ancient cultures.
My process involves working from a pile of pieces and assembling them into a story. Sometimes a design jumps out.
Am I a product of a space traveler mingling with a culture that my seafaring ancestors visited? Why do I have a fixation with space adventure? If a space ship lands and they want to take a specimen of Earth with them I will have my hand up waving it around. Do do do do ... I wonder what those space ladies are like? I guess the main question I ask all day long is "what if" for everything I do.
This piece will come with a thick marble base.
