Rodeo Joe - cast metal. This is one of my very earliest pieces. It was one of my experiments to control shrink. Carving styrofoam is extremely difficult with a hot wire which is how this was done. There is no recovery from a misstep. If you just hold the wire somewhat close to the foam it melts it from radiant heat.
