Ying - maquette. This is a model for a large sculpture that would be suited for a Corporate center, a large convention hall or a big skyscraper. The model is one-of-a-kind and cast in solid aluminum, as are all of my models. They were created as 3-dimensional blueprints, called maquettes, to be used by a specialized metal fabricator to measure off of in order to enlarge to the desired size.
The model also makes for a spectacular desk top sculpture. It is made to sit on a thick granite stone base which is included with the piece. The stone base has a polished top and cut sides.
