Seedling - maquette. Seedling would make a great design for a seed company, a school or a corporation that has an interest in growth. This is one of my favorite pieces because it is strong, simple and elegant.
Seedling is a maquette - a model - for a large abstract sculpture. The design in intended to be enlarged by a metal fabricator using this model for measurements.
Because the final sculpture would be long and thin it could be laid down for easier transport. The great part is the footprint is small yet the scale can be large. You would get a big impact from a design like this.
The maquette would make also a nice desk top sculpture. As such it will come with a thick stone base that is polished on top and rough cut on the sides.
