Cut Out - maquette. This design gives me the feeling of a succulent desert plant from another planet.
Because Cut Out is a small maquette compared to most of my others the pores in the texture look very large. The maquettes are 3D sketches made in metal so they can be handled without damaging them during the enlarging process. The idea is to use them for measurements so they can be much larger, say at least 9'. The final piece is made from any kind of sheet metal about 1/8" thick and will have a smooth surface. Vibrant colors would make this design sing. You choose the colors.
This maquette would also make a nice desk top piece. As such it will come with a thick marble base. Enlargement Rights are not included in the price of the maquette.
