Yang - maquette. This is an absolutely spectacular piece of sculpture. The architectural abstract design would be great enlarged and placed in front of a corporate headquarters.
Shown is a maquette -- a model that can be used as a 3-dimensional blueprint for a metal fabricator to create an enlarged version. The maquette is solid cast aluminum, making it durable for use in a manufacturing environment to work off of. It is not made of fragile balsa wood and paper as most architectural models are.
The maquette would also make a spectacular desk top sculpture. It comes with a separate, heavy granite stone base to display it on. This makes it easier to use to work off of for enlarging and also to be able to change stone bases to fit your decor. This stone base has a polished top and rough-cut non-polished sides and is about 1 inch thick.

The price shown is for the maquette only. The rights to enlarge the piece are available, but are NOT included in the sale price of the maquette. In order to enlarge the piece, the buyer enters into a contract with me and a fabricator of their choosing, and assumes financial responsibility for all enlargement and installation costs. I would be paid an additional design fee, based on a percentage of the total cost of the enlargement (similar to the practice used by architects).
